Don't Say I Didn't Call This

On Saturday morning I received a text from a good friend of mine. He was texting to share news of a historic endorsement. Though it came late, Colin Powell had just endorsed Barack Obama's bid for the White House.

It's been clear for some time that he was going to endorse Obama. However, who knew that when Mr. Powell finally delivered his endorsement that it would be so timely and so eloquently put.

It goes without saying that there are a million things that could happen between now and the election. And Joe Biden was even so cautious as to warn that if elected that Mr. Obama would be forced to make some unpopular decisions during his first 6 months in office. However, there seems to be very little that can sour the sweet taste that this campaign has brought to millions of voters across America.

Even Eric Schmidt, CEO of advertising giant Google has publicly thrown his support behind Obama.

I hope and I pray that there is no surprise in store that is capable of derailing this train.
